The map pages and routes

All of our routes are held on the Ride with GPS site below:

Please note that although the majority of the routes have actually been ridden by Fleet Cycling, road conditions may be very different on the day and Fleet Cycling accepts no liability, e.g., for errors or because of road conditions. Routes are provided as guidance only. Be wary of changing road conditions and closures, especially during the winter months.

Ride leaders may post a different GPX/TCX/FIT file or link to Ride With GPS of their proposed route before each ride on the Calendar pages or our Facebook page. Posts on that page are also visible shortly afterwards on the Home page of the Fleet Cycling website, and the Home > Upcoming Events page. New riders may wish to familiarise themselves with the route before the ride. If you have issues with the ride details, please contact the ride leader.

Please note that posts on the closed Fleet Cycling Facebook Group are not visible here on this site, due to Facebook restrictions. Also our RWGPS account public page only shows the most recent routes to users that aren't registered on the RWGPS website.

Star Classification - no longer used

Against a ride you may see a star classification. These were intended to indicate the difficulty and speed of the ride, but are no longer used. To judge the difficulty, you should consider the distance and the amount of climbing in the elevation graphs on the RWGPS website.

Downloading Existing Routes (Ride With GPS App, or Smart Phone)

If you are using the Ride With GPS app on a smart phone, simply view this page on your smartphone, touch the route to open it in Ride With GPS, and choose Save > Download for Offline. For help with loading routes onto a GPS device see the link below:

How to search for routes if you do not have an RWGPS account (limited number of routes)

Scroll down the page to see some of our recent rides and find a suitable route for the distance/destination (note that only recent routes appear in this list)
Click on a route to view the details
Click ... next to "Send to Device" in the top left
Download .fit file for Garmin/Wahoo head units or More Export Options for other formats
Copy downloaded file to your head unit (for Garmin drop file into NewFiles folder when its plugged into your computer)

How to search through ALL routes if you have an RWGPS account (even a basic free account)

Sign in to your RWGPS account, or set up a free RWGPS account and sign in
Click this link https://ridewithgps.com/users/1338070/ (opens in new window)
Click Follow, if you're not already following our account
On the link in Step 2, scroll down to the bottom of the RECENT ROUTES & RIDES
Click Load More in the orange box
Repeat Step 5 until you find a suitable route for the distance/destination
Click on the selected route
Download .fit file for Garmin/Wahoo head units or ... for More Export Options for other formats
Copy downloaded file to your head unit (for Garmin drop file into New Files folder when it's plugged into your computer via USB)
