We are pleased to offer the following specials and awaydays. These replace our normal ride for that day, if there is one. All our rides are shown on our page CALENDARS > EVENTS, and these featured rides are picked out on our CALENDARS > FEATURED EVENTS page.

Thursday May 23rd

10:30am Departure from Mountain Trax Barkham to Maharaja’s Well

Distance 40 miles
Ride Leader - Clive
Meet at Mountain Trax, Barkham Grange, 1 Markham St, Wokingham RG40 4PJ at 10:00 for 10:30 departure.
Mountain Trax has ample parking and will be providing free coffee and biscuits for both start and finish

Saturday May 25th

Herne Hill Track Taster Day - no prior experience required

Ride Leader - Ed H
Meet for 11:27 Train at Fleet Station to Waterloo with your bike
Track session 13:30 - 15:00

Summary: £20 + service fee includes track bike and helmet rental and instruction. Bring your own pedals if you wish or you can use ordinary shoes and their pedals. It’s easy to cycle from Waterloo to Herne Hill. You must bring gloves. Sunday June 2nd

Intro Sunday: 9:30am departure

Early Bird Sunday: 8:30am departure, finishing around midday

There will be two rides this day - we are experimenting offering an earlier and faster ride on select Sundays, for those who need to be finished by midday.
Ride 1 8:30 departure led by Mark and Sarah; experienced cyclists capable of 14mph +. Finishing around midday
Ride 2 9:30 departure led by Lisa C and supported by several other ride leaders; this will be a more sedate, no drop (we won’t leave anyone behind) ride.

Thursday June 20th

Isle of Wight

Two Routes
65 - 70 miles led by Ed H
35 - 40 miles led by Malcolm and Estelle
Ferries - please book as soon as you can.
If you are fortunate enough to be 60+ you get a discount; ticket cost is £17 for you and your bike is gratis.
Portsmouth - Fishbourne 8:40 for both long and shorter rides
Fishbourne - Portsmouth 17:40 for the long; tbd for the shorter ride but as the tickets are flexible you can book a placeholder on, say, the 15:00 ferry, and you can take an earlier or later ferry.
Parking is opposite the ferry terminal at Portsmouth.
